RESEARCH INSIGHTS EVENT: AGRICULTURE AND WATER QUALITY

Join us to hear about current research being undertaken at Rothamsted Research's North Wyke campus in Devon into:

- The role of organic carbon in soil systems – impacts on water, nutrient dynamics and microbial activity

- Mitigating agricultures unintended consequences on water quality

- The impact of different vegetation in riparian buffer strips on hydrology and water quality

The morning will also include a visit to the North Wyke Farm Platform to learn how this highly instrumented farm-scale experiment is being used to assess the impact of different land management interventions on water quality and how this work is being extended to the wider Taw catchment.

We ask that you bring suitable outdoor clothing and footwear for the tour.
