WORKING WITH SCHOOLS

We aim to support local schools by offering classroom activities and talks for all ages, plus pre-arranged visits to our campus for older students considering careers in science. We encourage our scientists to engage directly with schools at all levels; to share their enthusiasm for their research, inspire budding scientists and help teach students more about the importance of creating a more sustainable food system. For keen students in years 12 and 13 wanting to discover more about biological research, we offer a limited number of places on our work experience programme each year.
