BIOGRAPHY

Chris is a qualified librarian and an Associate Fellow of the Higher Education Academy. He has worked in several UK university libraries as well as for a supplier of library management systems. Before becoming a librarian he spent several enjoyable years in Japan teaching English as a foreign language.

His main professional interests are in the use of electronic resources for scientific research. He is particularly interested in how people interact with information systems. His Masters dissertation was a study on how the use of electronic resources has affected research in different subjects.

Chris’s responsibilities include eresource management and discovery, library support and training, web pages and resource selection.
