KAREN SAUNDERS
Field Technician
Sustainable Soils and Crops
BIOGRAPHY
Karen's key interests include working with livestock, particularly cattle and sheep, and being hands-on with the research that is going on at North Wyke. She is also interested in ecology, and in reducing the impacts of agriculture to benefit both farmers and the environment. It is great being able to apply practical skills and livestock experience, having grown up on a dairy farm and worked in land management and conservation before joining Rothamsted Research. Field projects at university have provided key skills that Karen has been able to put to good use and build upon in her current post.
