Biography
Catherine is interested in carbon and nitrogen allocation in crops. Her PhD used genetic and molecular techniques to explore the regulation of senescence timing and grain protein content in wheat. Currently she is investigating the role of sugar signalling molecule trehalose-6-phosphate in wheat carbon and nitrogen status.
