Biography

Dr Erika Kroll is a Bioinformatics Scientist working as part of the BBSRC funded Delivering Sustainable Wheat (DSW) cross-institutional strategic programme where she contributes to a wide range of bioinformatics research relating to wheat and wheat pathogen omics. She completed her PhD at Rothamsted Research in partnership with the University of Bath in 2024. The project investigated the genetic interactions between Fusarium graminearum and wheat through a combination of transcriptomics, computational biology, and molecular genetics.
