The big picture: using wildflower strips for pest control
Sustainable Soils and Crops
Imrul is a member of the soil physics group. He joined Rothamsted Research in 2020. His work includes both field and lab work and he is trained in the preparation and installation of fiber optic cables for field measurements. In the field, he sets up experiments, collects soil and gas samples, and collects soil moisture data using Electrical Resistivity Tomography (ERT), Electromagnetic Conductivity meter (EMI), and Neutron probes. He also has expertise in measuring soil gas (GHGs) from field and laboratory experiments using Gasmet (GT5000 Terra) and Picarro gas analyzers.
He helps other research workers, especially postdocs and Ph.D. students in the lab and field.
