Kirstie is responsible for light and fluorescent microscopy within bioimaging. She trains and supports users on the range of light and fluorescent microscopes, including the confocal laser scanning microscope and the Palm laser micro-dissection system. Kirstie also undertakes collaborative projects with internal and external researchers. She has experience with antibodies, their preparation and use, and with sample preparation and sectioning, including plants, soil, seeds, grains and plant pathogens.
