Net Zero and Resilient Farming
Kirsty is the Executive Assistant for the Net Zero & Resilient Farming Futures Directorate and North Wyke campus in Devon. She provides specialist business support services to all staff, students and visiting researchers.
Kirsty also provides Project Management services on other programmes and projects. For example, currently this includes the Trans4num EU funded programme working across Europe and China and the BBSRC funded Resilient Farming Futures Institute Strategic Programme as a qualified Prince 2 Agile Project Manager.
Kirsty was formally the Project Manager and Compliance and Monitoring Officer for the ERDF funded Cornwall Agri-tech Programme at Rothamsted Research. Kirsty managed the coordination of the following projects within the programme; Cell Grazing, Phosfield, Soil Carbon, Farm Crap App, TOMS and VizAg. Kirsty is supporting the researchers engaged in collaborative R & DI projects with agri-tech business partners to ensure the smooth running of projects and adherence to ERDF compliance and eligibility requirements. Kirsty provided claims administration, budget management and financial planning, along with output and outcome reporting. Working across this multi-partner collaborative programme throughout Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly. Kirsty has a background in the Renewable Energy industry and not for profit sector. Kirsty has experience in project management, fund finding, business engagement, reporting and events organisation.
