Net Zero and Resilient Farming
Neil has a broad interest in biological science and biological diversity, and in understanding how biological systems evolve to resolve specific functional requirements. He has developed expertise in greenhouse gas (GHG) analysis, currently applied in completion of work on the institute’s carbon cropping programme, alongside PLFA interpretations. He is planning to do more GHG analysis in support of proposed field trials throughout 2017, and further PLFA extractions related in part to the new Institute Strategic Programme, Soils-To-Nutrition.
