Biography

Vicky is on a 2 year contract funded by the Bill & Melinda Gates foundation working for Sarah Dunham in Sustainable Agricultural Sciences (SAS) Geonutrition where she supports work on soils and grasses from Africa. Vicky has responsibility for cleaning glassware, plastic-ware and weighing soils, labelling tubes and general lab cleaning and assisting others. Vicky has a wide range of science skills ranging from genetic screening to reproduction and fertility and immunity to malaria and strong organisational and problem solving skills. Her background is a degree in human genetics from UCL, reproduction whilst at the RVC, malaria and mouse genotyping and managing laboratories of about 90 people whilst at NIMR in Mill Hill before it closed and formed Francis Crick in central London.
